Visa and Mastercard are just the beginning. Soon, credit companies will begin to associate with certain brands. Those brands buy them out, automatically declining purchases on competing brands. In order to buy those other brands you will need a different credit card. Your wallet will overflow with a multitude of different credit cards, all declining different brands to try and push their partnered associates up for profit.

We are heading into a horrible future where credit loses all merit and people return to paying purely in physical money because credit will be too bothersome.

It's... weird. You open the for the first time and it bombards you with DLCs, cosmetics and trinkets you can buy. Being online is mandatory, you can't pause, the whole thing feels like it was conceived to be either a grindfest or a pay-2-win.
I'm playing the story, I don't care about the pseudo mmo nature of the game; I disabled all the online options I could. I'll drop it as soon as I finish the story.
I just turned 31, got axed from my dream job and was sick. But I'll live.

lol his tent city was hilarious. it was on a lot between the city dump, a sewage treatment plant, and a tire recycling facility or something. the only channel on tv was the weather channel so the inmates would know how hot it would be the next day and they lived in old army surplus barracks tents full of holes. oh and they were fed green baloney. and some of them had to work on literal chaingangs on the side of the road picking up litter and digging ditches.
