Basically, if Ubisoft would do this - it would mean every EU consumer would be entitled to mass-refund their purchases. Even decades old purchases as there is no limitation of liability on digital content that remains in active supply. Best yet: they would do this via the traders. The stores and digital platforms. The likes of Steam or PSN. Those companies in turn can take AAAAAALLL those refunds and treat them as legal damages for which they could sue Ubisoft in redress. Which puts a much, MUCH bigger threat behind it than individual small claims from individual consumers.
