It's not like there haven't been good fangames with decent writing, game design, or art direction. The problem with fangames is that Toby made this setting and these characters and everything to tell a cohesive story, and these fans don't even have half the pieces. Everything in Deltarune is a tool, but they don't even know what the tools are for yet and when they're trying to build stuff with them they mostly wind up hammering their thumbs.

Speaking of nature: I Recently saw a pair of stray dogs in my neighborhood. It was pretty obvious they were recently abandoned by how scared and confused they looked. Without basic survival skills they'd die quick, so I discussed with my partner about taking them in. Took about a day to convince her, but it was too late. Next time I saw them one was dead (looked like it was partially eaten) and the other just stood watching over the corpse. Still managed to rescue the other one after a little struggle to earn her trust, but you can tell that those two were together all their life and she doesn't know what to do without him. Nature is fucking cruel and its judgement waits for no one.

Why hasn't the knight started The Roaring already? from Ralsei's description it sounds incredibly easy, just make shittons of fountains and titans. I think there's only two real explanations that make sense:

Holy shit there is a gamebreaking bug, for some reason when you start a new game on windows 7, the game gets all the glyphs stuck on the ps4 controls, this doesn't happen if chapter 3 & 4 if you use a older save file that doesn't use the code from the "windows 7 beta fix" build, that was made about 2 years ago on steam. Which I assume is the same code running in chapter one & or two. So now I cant charge the jump, when I press "z" nothing happens, and now I cant exit the game to try and fix this because their is no save right after the jackenstien boss. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A FIX THAT CAN FIX THE CONTROLER GLITCH? For some reason it has something to do with the save file, I looked in my safe file with textedit, but I see no config for controlers being on. Any idea how to fix this, other then me getting out of my chair and pluging in a controller? No im not installing gen2
