I think that’s the plan. It’s actually a pretty good one too. Phil realized he can’t compete with Sony so Microsoft may ditch directly competing with PlayStation and just publish games. At most, I think Microsoft will stick with the smaller end console market by making cheap consoles like the Series S and shilling gamepass
