What makes a card good is the skill it holds. If you see any wiki, almost all of FM skills are very good for Medium range races. Other important factors are of course training bonus, moods, energy, and their own respective skill. One of the reason Kitasan MB is highly wanted is her last upgrade making her almost certainly appear in speed training. If you want to decide which card you want to reroll if you're F2P, focus on skills, since MB-ing a card would be quite hard. Sadly at this time there's no good alternative to good universal speed card, so your Special Week and the SR Sweep Tosho will do. Nope. I almost always give up after I get my free card on the 200th pull. There's also certain rolls that are just godlike where you can just pick which card you want to pull, so usually I would focus on that. I always follow the meta and listen to Jap autism on which gacha to roll. Like I said, you will be getting some limit break crystals to help you through your journey. That with the free SSR card will be very useful if you're fully F2P. There's a reason Kitasan is popular, so... I kinda recommend you to try to pull it and upgrade it with the crystals

As F2P your choice is to have SR cards carry you as far as possible (viable strategy) and snipe for the best SSR cards of each category when they appear with rate ups. There are some good cards available now, some that get power crept later. You can only borrow one card per campaign. You want to roll multiple copies because the bonuses they give are significant but it's dependent on the card

What stat are you looking to raise, what type of uma are you trying to build and what distance are you building for. In speed you could wait for El Condor, Mejiro Palmer or Jungle Pocket which are viable at lower copies but some of their skills are more specialized

Doing good careers isn't something you'll be able to do immediately regardless. The main gameplay loop is doing a career, failing, then using that horse as part of the legacy to make an even stronger horse. You repeat this several times and then inevitably end up with a horse that can clear career and take the URA Finale. Bakushin speedrun's this, admittedly.

Maybe do like two ten rolls for support cards and just go all in on uma's from then on. That's what I did and I've got multiple clear Ura Finale victories.
