S1 is a different kind of show from CinGray for the most part, S2 is a way better entry, Road to the Top is short but a good watch, the movie is kino, S3 isn't very good but if you came this far might as well watch it.

For other newfags, both Cinderella Gray and Season 1 are acceptable entry points, I would recommend against going straight to the movie because it's more satisfying to see the evolution.

The thing with the movie is that it's really good, but then if you go back to S1 which has the worst race animation it'll seem like such a downgrade that maybe you won't get to S2 which is a great show and 100% worth watching.
It's kinda like how some game franchises have newer entries with a lot of QoLs, and that could make newcomers not want to experience the older games because they're "clunky" or whatever. The order you play could change your perspective and think it's similar here.

Yeah it gives discounts which is why it's better to buy them later on unless it's essential to your run early. Taiki shuttle's skill is really op for front runners cause you're pretty much always in a good position. Everything else is usually buy late because I always choose skill points in my dialogue options, it's either that or speed bonuses.

Also less power, front runners don't need a lot of power because they don't need to break through the pack, you'll get plenty from just spamming speed and training it when there's 2-3+ training supports on it.
