As today, Gust works as a additional stamina and the requirements scale on distance.
You need around 210 guts for sprint up to 450 for the longest long race.
If you have less you will burn more stamina, if you have more, you burn a bit less stamina.

Kitasan Black is only a God tier card when maxed, but later in the game there will be resources given to help max out support cards. That's why some people in this thread suggest rerolling for just 2-3 copies, because it's more realistic and you can MLB it later.

Just finished season 2 and I really didn’t care for it. It’s mainly because I couldn’t get invested in Spica. In episodes 7 and 8 I really couldn’t give a single fuck about Teio and McQueen and just wanted the focus to go back to Rice Shower which was a bad sign. Umas have a different top speed for each section of the course (marked by the divots in the tracker during the race). So each time they hit a divot they start accelerating to their new target velocity.

I think a majority of courses have the final divot on a corner, while the goal is on a straightaway. So GENERALLY speaking corner acceleration > straightaway acceleration, and straightaway velocity > corner velocity. But YMMV.
