Season 1 is kinda boring and has really mediocre animation, even for a seasonal anime. Season 2 looks better and has much more interesting drama going on. Season 3 is kinda boring again. Then comes the OVA "Road to the Top" which completely shits on the TV anime seasons in every way, and then you watch the movie and retroactively forget everything that came before because it's in a league of its own.

I watched the movie in a japanese theatre, way before anyone here had a chance to see it. It's a well done sports drama with excellent directing and incredible sound design, both of which are far more impressive than any sakuga moments. Retards got filtered because they think Jungle Pocket is the only protagonist and that Tachyon took a minor role during the second half, when it's literally the other way around. And yeah, Opera was cool as hell, but she isn't my favorite.
