I don't get the love for this character - I found him underdeveloped
He's motivations are the same as Tenna's, as he wants Kris to make use of him by playing vidya (it is implied he only powered the game console, which is why all console mini-games become unplayable after he turns to stone but the TV is fine)
He doesn't have anything going for him besides the weird inclusion of british accent

Less so a theory and more of a ''how does castle town ACTUALLY looks like in the lightt world'' because one thing crossed my mind, if all Castletown had in ch1 is just Ralsei, Lancer and a cauldron, wouldn't that room be pretty fucking empty?
That and the heavy implications that if we are stuffing a single room with a buttload of stuff, wouldn't that make Pacifist take the role of Undertale's genocide route? Recruiting stuff tends to be a grindier process compared to battling and genocide is a whole lot of grind, i think pacifist will be a bad ending, or it's going to add fuel to Susie's fire all things considered as castletown gets flushed.

Was Toriel really the target during chapters 3 and 4? Knight and Kris looked like they were stalling for time in chapter 3 final confrontation, but once Undyne shows up, Knight immediately springs to action.Then there's chapter 4 - if choir practice took place, there would've been at least one more important target there, namely Noelle, and we know that Knight wanted to drag her into Dark World since chapter 2.

Knight trying to kidnap Toriel is a red herring (real). I'm not even sure the Knight had a target in Ch4, either. I'm really just going off vibes here but considering how passive the knight is in Ch4 (throws shit at us while backing away and makes 1 (one) titan before fucking off) and that part of the prophecy is that the heroes will fight the Knight repeatedly, I think the point of their making the Ch4 dark worlds was essentially to have Susie explore them. The Knight wanted Susie to learn about the prophecy and fight a titan so that she'll be primed to take some sort of bait from team Carol later on

The shadow mantle quest has to be one one of my favorite things from the new chapters.

The whole thing is basically just creepypasta, and it has all the old tropes of what you'd expect, like how the game feels haunted, it's self aware and how you're doing things you're not supposed to do. But those ideas are executed so well it genuinely feels like it's an actually good creepypasta and not one that tries too hard.
It helps how it's happening in the dark world, so all the weird shit happening doesn't feel like out of place

The most unsettling part is killing the monsters that resembles Undertale characters, which make you think if killing them would ruin your pacifist run. And I do love you how finally get access to the bunker after years of speculations, even if it's in a video game format and not the real thing. Kris' reaction of trying to keep you way is also interesting.

Oh and gotta love when mini Kris jumps from the screen, and it's revealed how you put your literal soul in the game.

I hope Toby does something like that more in later chapters. He does creepypasta horror very well in his games

Did Gaster really got erased out of existence? If so, how come Riverperson mentions him (assuming Gaster is the man who speaks in hands)? And assuming Gaster was experimenting with dark fountains, what happened that made him shatter across space and time?
