The other problem is that TP just had very a very poorly written plot, and too much of it. Things just happened for no clear reason, and the writers never cared if it made sense with what came earlier in the story. Like how Zant can evidently just teleport instantly to a light spirit and seal it again with no effort, but he decides just not to do it with all the light spirits link has freed. Or how the mirror is only way between the two worlds and needs to be broken to prevent travel, except for the fact that it was broken the whole game and we see plenty of things moving between the two worlds in that time.

My main complaint is that they didn't give the part where Pauline has to sing any time to breath. It's all one huge cutscene leading up to K. Rool. It doesn't even have the "Y to Punch" prompt you'd expect; DK just does it on his own. There could have been an extra interactive part where DK has to break out of the odd rock where you as the player control him in some kind of void surrounded by the stuff that he can now punch through normally. It also would have been the perfect time to have Breaking Through play during gameplay with the objective "Break Through" popping up right in time with the lyrics. Putting an extra bit of gameplay in there would help space out the events of Void's defeat, the odd rock, Pauline singing, and the eventual reveal. That's my two cents, anyway.

From my experience, if you are like me and did the initial run just exploring and having fun, and then do a sweep through all the layers again to do clean up and post game just collecting chips that are along the way, you get around to the 940-950 Banana count as long as you buy bananas as you go along with the game and dont save them all towards the end.
