It is widely speculated that the "Great War" teased by Eridians throughout the series (the Watcher/Seer) is this game. Vaults are in the game, but as a side activity; explore to find keys, unlock vaults, which serve as dungeons. Reviewers say it is a clear attempt to "restart" the series, ie the plot now continues from 4 rather than being rooted in 1-3 and the other shit.

Seems a lot of the story is

I enjoy these games but have zero interest in the loot. I'd prefer to just use ONE assault rifle for the whole game. I'd prefer if it was more of an fps with abilitiees and got rid of the loot and stats and rpg stuff outside of the abilities. ok im back. i killed 2 bosses and was on my way to 3rd boss, i started running into enemies that were +2-3 lvls above me and were taking 2-3 mags to kill per enemy and my 2hrs was up by then anyway

i requested refund like i thought

the main problem for me is the open world and traversing with the hoverbike being janky and the shit performance. like imagine playing BL2 but instead of going A to B in 20sec you snag on rocks and trees for 2min. what doesnt help is the waypoint system glitches up and the "clairvoyance" path disappears and in combat you cant re-activate it. and you do this while having 60 fps and the game looking like borderlands 3 but blurrier.

the npc roleplay sections are still there, you have to wait for them to finish before you can carry on

the base gameplay feels p much like bl3, but you can double jump and glide as a base ability. its also super easy to abuse to get NPCs with no ranged attacks stuck.
