The shift from TVs was pretty rocky, but the build up to Bringer and the everybody's here moment was a rrally good pay off. Then you had Obal 1.0 which was really just Mockingbird preview with a random sniper lady there, and Mockingbird which seemed interesting at first but wound up as a villian of the week character story ahoved into the main plot, much like everything after.

What ZZZ needs is to fire the writers and get someone competent in their place. Right now the story feels like they have no idea what to do with it and are just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks. I think it really needs sweep options. There is no point manually farming stages now that they put monsters in the overworld. It's clear that at some point they decided a big robot wouldn't sell and it needs coombait, but they drastically overdid it. First off they decided to pander to footfags with endless feetshots. The scooter was introduced as an excuse to keep her barefoot. All the animations were done to keep her feet and ass on screen as much as possible. Her most common Wipeout is downright silly, where she jumps out of the robot and shoves her ass into the camera for the freeze frame.

Sneed is good for dual attacker comps, sure, but how many dual attacker comps are there? Unless the devs push for a new meta, when you're switching between two attackers, equally sharing the field time, she's not as good as she might seem. The current meta favors hypercarries who hog all the field time for themselves, with off-field supports like Astra and Trigger, showing up periodically to refresh the buffs. And more recently Aftershock characters, who utilize this new mechanic, and dealing damage while off-field. With the exception of this particular DA rerun (I still cleared the Defiler with Yanagi), they still seem to be pushing for miasma shit and rupture agents more than for the Attacker duos.

Yeah like I said she's not going to be necessary by any means since the hypercarry stuff is still the best in ZZZ, nothing beats having two people boosting a DPS right now because supports are insanely valuable. I just think that team comps using Seed and a new attacker aren't going to be bad, they're probably going to have worse performance than a hypercarry attacker team but they're always going to be more fun for me since hypercarry teams are usually a bit boring, just look at how nice Miyabi,Yanagi and Astra feel to play, always switching them up and attacking and shit, no swapping just to throw a skill and fuck off or whatever, playing with Seed feels the same way

I don't know, I agree that Hoyo always has there "Isn't China awesome???" arc, but the designs after feel really safe and generic gacha fantasy to me. Yuzuha is alright and Minato is OK, but compare that to Nicole, Ben, Billy, Burnice, Anton, etc. Characters with designs that scream "I do not fit into Geshin Impact. I belong in an urban setting, not an open green field or Chinese temple."
I hope you're right and they get back to their roots, but I have a hard time believing the designs are going to go back to something simple and modern like Nicole's gyaru look. Yidhari and Lucia are even worse offenders than Yixuan at resembling Honkai Star Rail characters. Seed outside her mech looks like a whimsical genshin character. Orphie looks like an Arknights character. Alice looks OK I guess. But compare that to the days of construction crews, police officers, maids and butlers, etc.
