When things are going really well you should play it safer. If you get too greedy you could perfectly ruin a good ace run like that one. Is a 60spd training with 30% winrate really gonna make her that much better? For example, isn't it bertter to rest and go for a 40 one?

Thing is most people suck at making S. Maru, and everyone is bringing dominator to bring her down, and im talking 3-4 dominators per match sometimes. They're doing that specifically to fuck with her. If you don't do that, she wins a lot easier. But in the rooms I've joined, S. Maru has a very high chance of winning. Of course it's not perfect, no strategy is, but it's more consistent, just like Falcon was. And most people are gonna want 60% win rate over 30% at the end of the day. I myself never hyped her up to be invincible, but you have to run in the test rooms to see it firsthand. She's pretty damn strong, but wont be forever. There are plenty of strategies to counteract her, most Taurus aces are pretty strong still. I agree with you in the sense that people fall for the hype way too easily, but that doesnt S. Maru ISN'T strong, because she is.

It's more that she's one of the hardest umas to build, there's so many rng factors that have to line up with her. It feels like 1 in 10 runs with her has a real chance but when you finally get most of the exodia assembled you end up missing one green or all rainbow trainings suddenly stop and your stats suck. It's honestly bullshit that groundwork is so important but there's zero cards that guarantee it.

It's amazing how comfy it feels going back to "normal" careers. I did a few Doto runs yesterday and basically all of them were decent, mostly had 0 good speed rainbows off of 4 supports. Getting medium S is the only hard part.

It's not the end of the world. It's kind of fucky because each CM is on different grounds, and aces are going to want different skills each race. Like if you're in the SMaruzensky mines, you need a new groundwork parent every time to account for the green skills.
What you can best do to mitigate this is get 3* stam/pow generically good grandparents, which you can then use with a specialized rental grandparent to make a specialized parent for a specific ace for specific cup conditions.

Then it's bad luck. I understand your special priority isn't amazing, i'm in the same situation, but even when it's higher, it's no guarantee it lines up either. Sometimes you have that 100 special priority MLB kitasan that just sits in guts training all day. A lot of it is just RNG, don't overthink it and keep trying. Your ingredients are right, you just have to be persistent, assuming you're managing your energy efficiently. Try and favor your speed training and try to level it up. I know a lot of the times the trainees will be in other categories so you need to get their bond up. But try and favor speed if that's where you're struggling, just to show to yourself yes, I can do this. I know that sounds stupid, but just try. See how much it takes, and try and keep track of how many single rainbows, how many double etc. You'll get a feel for the type of RNG you'll need.

It is ENTIRELY dependent on your cards. Even if you dont have a stamina bonus, an MLB cafe and MLB creek will you get there.

yeah, that's why it's dependent on the cards, but a lot of peole have mlb cafe and a lot of people borrow MLB creek so...You can get by with 5 or so stamina sparks or less from my experience to hit about 800 stamina with those two cards, no stamina bonus needed.

Yeah, a lot of small things add up. I've come to really like secondary stat training on cards. Power bonus on speed, stamina bonus on power, it's a really strong boost that makes me even consider an energy thief card like Biwa.

Wit slightly affects speed outside of the last spurt by assisting in determining the target speed an uma takes in each section of the race outside of the final spurt (there are 24 in each race), and affects the chance that an uma goes faster and consumes less stamina on a downhill segment, which is checked again every second or two of a downhill segment.

Select your Uma, select her best parents that you currently have, and select the two best grandparents for the chosen parent (you need at least one of them, you can borrow the other)
Raise Parent 1 with grandparent 1 and 2, with the best blue/pink sparks you want.
Win as many G1 races as you possibly can and make sure to get at least 600 points in speed, stamina and power.
Repeat until you get a parent with an acceptable 2*/3* blue spark and the 2*/3* pink spark you're aiming for, if the parent has URA Finale sparks or 2*/3* white skill sparks that's just a bonus.
Do this with parent 2 (or just stop and borrow someone else's parent), and do it one last time with the Ace Uma you want to make. It's a lengthy process, so make sure to borrow parents.

First thing to do would be to find out which parent you want to borrow in the first place, and that parent covers what you don't have. For example, I don't have Maruzensky for this CM, so if I want to use a pace chaser, I want to borrow one of those. If you don't have Taiki either, try to find Maruzensky with Taiki as a grandparent, and you can borrow Taiki so she can be a grandparent on your side. Second, identify what you do have and see who offers the most help. If none of the parents you have give an important unique skill for that CM, just go for someone that can win the most G1s or has the best potential skills to inherit. In your deck, look more for skills you want to inherit rather than pure stats, since those can show up as white sparks. You don't need insane stats on someone you don't need to race, but you still need good enough stats to win as many G1s as you can. One other thing is that you might have to adapt and learn not to be super picky with the blue/pink sparks. Spaces are limited and you have to borrow what you can rather than lament what you don't.
