I haven't been playing much lately because I haven't had the time for it, but when I do play there's a tremendous amount of pressure to perform even in Quick Match because of sweaty tryhards that it just doesn't make me want to play even when I have the time to. The current meta doesn't help either but that's a bit easier to look past outside of ranked.

I only just got back into the game after not playing since January. I'm actually starting to get pretty alright at muh hitscan and Johnny Storm is pretty fun. Luna is probably my go-to support pick. I thought I might like Emma Frost but I'm inexplicably dogshit at every tank except Peni.

When I started playing I really wanted to get godlike at Magik and get her Eldritch skin (10/10 skin imo and perfect waifu) but she's probably one of my worst, I'm fucking DOGSHIT. I'd be better off using literally any other melee.

It's match up dependent. Mr Fantastic will fuck up any BP so if you're DPS swap. Loki will cuck BP out his confirm kills if you play him right. But no matter what the solution is for the supports to heal each other while BP waste all his cooldowns. The problem is supports don't do that and aren't incentivized to do so by DPS flamers and poor coordination.

I noticed a lot of games are like this now because the "normalfags" won.
They kept crying about how things in video games "take too much time these days" from traditional video games, multiplayer games, gacha games and so on.
But then, they're the same exact people that will boot up the new content Day 1 and rush through all of it in one sitting. This is one thing that I missed about Gundam Evolution. That game had its fair share of issues, but one of the best parts of it was that you really could chose who you want as Evolution placed huge emphasis on positioning and strafing.

You had healers, but healing was meant to get you back in a fight a little bit quicker and not for your frontline to tank all the bullets in the server. The "tanks" still did damageand the "supports" still did damage and this is how hero shooters should be designed from a fundamental level.
These devs keep designing hero shooters like MOBAs and MMOs, and it's just not working for the long run.

the more of them there are in a lobby the more consistently they get free shit because theyre all built around stalling fights as long as possible
if this wasnt the case you could probably just play stacked bucky or a namor comp and win against it pretty consistently but they get way too many free resources for you to outscale them so you gotta have a pretty perfect game to beat them that way

Do chinks understand that in it's current format the game will never be friendly to casuals? For it to be the case individual performance should matter way less, the simplest way to achieve is to increase the amount of players in a match. Right now just one person underperforming already drags the whole game down. This is further accentuated by the fact that people can’t simply pick and play the characters they like, because of the overall team composition and the large amount of counter picks.

How can you tell if you are actually doing well as a vanguard / tank player? Sometimes my stats look awful. Like 4 kills - 5 deaths - 10 assists or some shit. We win the game but I can't tell if its because of anything that I did or if I just had the shit carried out of me. This gets worse when I am in losing games. I think tank is one of those roles that is very dependent on how good your healers are because you don't really have the damage to be solo killing people and padding stats etc even when losing.

With Hulk, you wanna be a nusiance hopping between your frontline, their backline, and your backline. You're taking damage from everywhere, so combined with being poked by hawkguy or hela or even winter soldier all 3 of them having extremely high damage for shooters is insane, you cant even walk out for more than 3-5 seconds if youre a tank without instantly getting nuked unless your supports are sustaining health like crazy which rarely happens outside of celestial.
I'm fine with Punisher being the way he is because he has to keep his crosshair on people for a brief moment ot kill them, and he's arguably one of the best examples of a balanced hero in this game.

Seeing emma announced got me interested and honestly despite how gutted my favorite role has been this season, she's been the most fun tank i've ever played in this genre.
I get that flyer meta sucks and dive/melee characters are at their worst point, but honestly this season has been the most fun for me just emma and storm teamup killing the support ult bullshit.

Strange and Mag are boring because you do the same shit with them day in and day out every match. Zero variation. You're always using your flight into Mama Coco because you'll get CCed out of it otherwise.
You're always making CnD and Luna fear Magneto. You're always bubbling your strategist that is getting flanked.

At least with Emma you can change up your shit. You're not always chokeslamming and kicking the same enemy, or ulting the backline.

She can dump three into iron man, and he'll spawn his shield. Same with Ultron. Then they dash away and get healed. At this point you're dumping more than half your clip into them in follow up shots with the kill still not being secured.

Or you two tap the entire backline accross map in one clip.

I just don't get it man. People bitched SO HARD about symbiote on spidey for being an "insta kill". The 10 hp per second you get from standing next to the payload on attack was enough to cancel the combo. Consequence of TTK being so low.
TTK needs to be high in a game with 20 different particle effects flying around at once. It doesn't hlep that the sound direction is bad and makes it so that it's difficult for a veteran even to tell specically where the person is coming from (I rather they fix this too, but it doesn't seem like any time soon) and borderline impossible for scubs (which is why they still cry about BP even though he is a Bottom 3 character)
ultimates that can instantly turn the tide of the battle at a press of a button. It's all too much and things need to be toned down to a mangable state.

People hate characters that have to get in your face to do damage, because then they have to think about the situation, which is why despite Psy being better than BP in every situation since S0, the latter was the only one to get complaints.
