Anyway to answer your question, I would do playerauctions. You will occasionally find dud accounts but you can also snag legit ones for cheap. Just monitor the customer feedback on the sellers and the skins on them. If they have a victorious skin from a past season there is a high chance that it isn't flagged as a botted leveled account.

IMHO, role finder did more harm than good to the game. Training people to play 1 role (or worse yet, 1 champ) over the course of years and pitting them against players that got filled into that role and play it less than 5% of the time is just terrible balance. You add in the fact that players can not dodge people they know are on autofilled roles anymore makes it even worse. I don't know why people would ever want to waste their time playing with si17 autofilled jungle vs doaenel jg in grandmaster mmr, that's an absolute horserape of a game and should not even happen, but because no one knows who is who anymore, it will.

A lot of mid laners dont know how to actually play the game and get by sitting in lane and csing. It's a decent strategy for solo queue where people just throw at 20 minutes quite often or people just handshake for 20.

That is rough, you as the jungler as you've noticed can quickly become a punching bag. Even in iron laners notice that if the enemy jungler got giga harassed and dumpstered in their own jungle, its both in their best interests to keep you weak and that you're free money. So you have to play safer, ward what you can, and look for plays where you can. You noticing mid was planning something devious with the push was very good, but you trying to protect your buff was a little too ambitious.
I would have just done raptors, and thrown a ward on the red to watch for the shaco tomfoolery that you were already expecting. If the shaco and ahri show up, your raptors are safer to take/smite and you just back off and recall, grab a longsword and whatever else you can, and get back on the map. If they didn’t harass, you can keep clearing. You have good map awareness, you just have to play a little safer.

Yeah I guess I just don't know when to do what, is the main issue. Some games feel very streamlined and easy, other games it feels like the tempo is way off and that I'm always in the wrong spot wrong time.

Honest to God I did not have a plan in mind other than trying to full clear and look for mid early to put ahri behind. Though I don't think we would have won 2v2 vs them anyway so I probably didn't play for the right lane.

The biggest issue with Swiftplay is that obviously the game's not "swift" at all. Riot has the numbers and for some reason will not make any changes. Maybe they don't care about the game mode being busted. Maybe they just released it just to ignore all of its issues and focus on the "real game" aka ranked mode.

What big jungle doesn't want you to know is that all you really have to do is clear until you see a dumbass pushed up to one of your towers at 10% health, then you kill them and get free money. It's a lot of watching the map and a lot of jungle games, eventually you'll get the feel for which lanes are going to be your bank and wincon, and which to avoid like the plague. Like a 4/0/0 enemy Nasus that's 2 levels on you and has ult. Don't go there.

Haha you were half right. We're in full clear meta for the most part, but until you get the feel for when you see opportunities to invade or mix it up you'll want to always clear top to bot. Bot lane is almost always the most volatile and the best opportunity for kills. Midlane is more opportunistic, especially when you're trying to catch someone like Ahri or Akali. Don't waste too much time chasing them, when enemy bot lane is about to push a wave into your tower and will be prime for a gank by the time you get there.
