As a huge Reines advocate and waifufag, I think she's not important mechanically if you have every other major premium support, but I think she's still got uses in that scenario.

She has unbelievably good synergy with Castoria in non-looping comps because her NP gives Overcharge stacks and NP gain. A single Reines NP into a Castoria NP gives 3 stacks of Castoria's special invincibility, and Reines even has damage mitigation with a 3 turn party wide DEF up for the turns Castoria's NP isn't protecting them.

Her NP is still also the only thing in the game that grants the entire party the ability to ignore their own weaknesses. Extremely nice to have if you want to use Berserkers regularly.

Those two are her primary standout usecases, on top of what you can also use her for (usual 50% charger stuff).

Anyway her niche is being an Arts looper who can give herself invul and has an anti-Earth niche. Pretty simple, you hit all the buttons and Melu goes brrr.

If you have Summer Ibuki she doesn't add anything else, and if you have most other Arts loopers she's probably better than them for the basic function of smashing 3 waves of things though some like Kama may have situationally better tools for longer/shorter battles. Overall I would say she is roughly on par with Spishtar. She does not have as many damage buffs, in exchange for having better inherent class defences, better self-invul provision and to the extent it matters crits harder and more often.
