I'm not convinced that they have made any changes to cards before releasing them. I think that the first three sets have been fully designed before launch and that they're all just playing in their Scrooge McDuck swimming pool of money right now. If they did any playtesting, it was probably based on all 3 of the first sets together as one big launch set but then they split them up for dumb reasons.

Summoning artifacts with flight of icarus buff makes a big difference and he does that pretty well. Sevo clears tall bodies which portal normally sucks at (also deals 2 chip damage). As a last resort you can drop him raw and still get value. Closed a few games with him + beta artifact + beta artifact from catapult engage. It's not on the level of Orchis but at least he still does something when you run out of sevo.
I tried running 3 but he keeps showing up before my artifact generators, and summoning 3pp artifacts with his fanfare feels ass.

Cerb's power plays require setup. You need to already have a board ready for her to really pump massive damage. The only way to securely setup such a board is via cemeteries, but if you're using those then you also have one or two low-impact turns where you aren't doing much. Her power play is also disrupted by the presence of any one-drops in the graveyard. Subsequent cerbs are not reliable in their performance, and you can just be screwed by things like forest or Yurius stuffing garbage into your graveyard.

You're mixing up the two abyss decks. Aggro abyss has a very explosive early game at the cost of sacrificing ludicrous sums of HP and card advantage. Control abyss's early game is lukewarm at best since they're geared for the long game. The deck with the strong early game does not have the high value late game cards because their curve doesn't have room for it, and the deck with the strong late game cards can't run the more powerful early game cards due to a mix of them costing too much HP or shitting up their graveyard with trash that will defang cerberus.

I think the biggest issue with sword is that they rarely brick since their cards can function in the early and late game thanks to enhance and rally. Other crafts get fucked if they draw a three drop in the late game, but not sword. Nah, now it’s just three dogs instead of one.

He might be too much for 5pp. It's just annoying because there is a desire to get some synergy with Charon. Those rotting zombies are pretty obnoxious wards when Charon is in play. The problem is that the opponent needs to brick for Charon to hope to survive long enough for you to play something else.

I'm not sure what would really need to be done to fix him. The braindead way to be to take a page out of sword's book and buff the zombies when they come into play, like how gildaria gives her knights rush. It probably would be best to squeeze some kind of necromancy effect into there.

Sword is the only deck that can consitently 50/50 Rune and because Rune deletes the rest of the metagame Sword gets to win more by being more popular because it's not a bitch ass durdle deck.

I've been thinking that Fairy Fencer is better than Tamer when the game is nothing but Sword and Rune but hadn't committed to trying it yet. Good list, I really like more copies of the draw spell to avoid burning cards with Titania's constant Fairy influx though.

This set it's Sword vs Rune.
Next set will be Abyss vs Rune if Valnareik and Ruleyne don't get fucked into one card like GinZuki.
Then Haven vs Rune if it's Wonderland.
Then Forest vs Rune if it's Natura.

Rune will always be the tier 0 top deck but will always be beaten in popularity by the only deck that can compete with it because sane people don't want to play that shit.
