That was good. First the Sun ending and now So Mi's ending, people say that Cyberpunk doesn't have any happy endings but I'm pretty satisfied with the ones I got. I regret shit talking the first part of the dlc, I ended up loving it, it definitely got better as it went on. The infiltrations, the stadium shootout, getting to put that two faced bastard Reed in the ground. I liked it. It's funny, So Mi lied to me and Reed was relatively open with me barring the lie by omission during the kidnapping, and yet the masks upon masks he wears and the layers of bullshit he delivers his justifications with make me hate him much more. So Mi might have told a fib, but she didn't hide herself. Alex at least didn't claim to be So Mi's friend, but selling out someone to Myers and her torturers just so your trip to monaco can be paid for leaves a bad taste regardless. I'm glad that So Mi managed to escape captivity, that was a much worthier cause to fight for than helping Myer's cover up her powertrips and soothe the ego of her loyal dog. If she cares so much about preventing a war she can do it herself. Overall great dlc.

Im also optimistic about using the AI in games. Yes its a slop (for now) but imagine CP77 sequel, where every NPC has their own routine, personal stories, conversations. World reacting to your decisions, dynamic quests, dialogues and random events. Its all within the realm of possibility. Thats said, Reds deserve praise for making such detailed and unique setting. Like during the corpo prologue I was amazed by the design of the Jenkins office. The wood, floor with the marble, plants behind the glass, table design, seat in the AV looking like it has been taken straight from the Maybach S Class.

This very hard playthrough I'm on is my favorite build so far.

I'm using power pistols, sandevistan and grenades (with no revolvers/sniper rifle crit abuse). I have dash from Reflexes to keep me away from berserkers, and I've had to learn enemy dodge animations when they do the matrix bullet-time shit. But feels like I'm playing as cybernetic Leon Kennedy. Shit's fun and a good bit harder than execute spamming with a katana build.

There's a bit in Phantom Liberty where someone comes up behind V, and they ask Johnny who it is, and he specifically says he can't see anything V can't, even though he's standing in front of them
The relic was to allow you to talk to the dead, in the manner V experiences Johnny, by having them move around and talk to you face to face. There might be actual in-game documentation on the engram's experience, but its a consumer product so its not really about the engram.

you tried to drift around a left turn and counter the slide with the wheel turned right.
depending on the car, if you held reverse and gas at the same at the end of the turn, or were on unstable ground as you accelerated, that counter turn became your next direction. you may have been driving the caliburn which feels like it has 4 wheel drive with each tire accelerating independently.

most cars cant accelerate fast enough to do it. i wish they were. but it usually happens when you hit unstable ground when all 4 tires arent on the ground. this is an extreme example from an older version of the game. the driving model has changed a bunch, and the current caliburn has a lot more training wheels.

each car handles differently and responds to the e-brake and Reverse differently. The Quadra Type-66 "Javelina" will feel like you are drifting constantly. it can slide over bumps without issue
The Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech and Caliburn, are from another planet
there is a connection between frame rate and vehicle speed. if you are blow 30 fps you will be slower than if you were at or above 60fps. In older versions of the game frame rate also influenced physics. more FPS = higher jump. so i wouldnt be surprised if system instability or alt tabing fullscreen mode messing up your frame rate might do something unexpected.

with a controller i use the "xbox accessories" program to remap the A button to a Bumper so i can tap the brakes. (you can also manually remap the controller from the UserSettings.json
with m+kb, i have brakes and reverse on the side of the mouse

some cars respond well to holding reverse while your foot is on the gas as you enter a turn

i know in real life some f1 drivers for example brake and throttle at same time to shift the weight balance to their advange but reverse sounds funky

while driving, hold W and S on your keyboard
with a controller pull both triggers
its a smoother slow down.
in previous versions of the game it was the only way to get the Turbo R to turn without sliding out. Because if you released W/Right Trigger/Gas/Acceleration to slow down, then tried to accelerate out of a turn it would lose traction and spin out.
