Aren't zombies NPCs? That's the whole problem with this game. The zombies are just there, they serve no purpose and they have no agency. Sure they're scary to new players, but once you figure out their rudimentary AI they're just in the way, and the game punishes you for daring to interact with them. The muscle fatigue bullshit was the last straw for me. I don't give two fucking shits about smelting ore to make an axe head that breaks after cutting two trees down. As for firearms, fucking forget it.
Why build a fortress for an attack that will never come? People who resort to the "nomad" style of play are just trying to overcome the central tedium of a world where you scrounge mountains of food and gear that you'll never eat or use. I don't expect the devs to design their way out of this, once you go from the terror of a new start your only destination is a kind of lonely existentialism and dread that comes from living in a dead world by yourself. Once you've experienced that, you've experienced all the game really has to offer.
As for multiplayer, who cares, it's a different game entirely.

NixOS is a poor taste joke. Literally a walled garden for freaks. They purged any possibility of a healthy userbase. Since the trannies took over the leadership of the project and the communities, it has become basically impossible to even contribute if they know, for example, that you follow Alex Jones on xitter. I was banned for two weeks on Discourse just for defending Jon Ringer. I said "he's a good person, maybe it's better to talk to him to reach a consensus". That was enough to get banned, now my name appears in Google searches, the first link is literally a Github PR saying I was banned for "hate speech". I had to change my username everywhere so as not to burn my reputation professionally.
At least this situation was the push I needed to migrate to Guix for good. Just the fact that it doesn't have these communities already makes Guix infinitely better. Not using Github also helps a lot. Furthermore, I wish all the worst for the entire NixOS leadership and especially the community leaders. May NixOS die and Guix grow.

Yeah shits still completely impossible to see with all this fog despite a weather reset. Going to fix this another day some random fucker touched the mission files and it isn't my weather mod for some reason. GPU is also spikeing like crazy on this mission for no good reason when I ran it on release fine with a fucking 980+i5.
