Nah, this post is just zoomer/alpha hate.
I never joined an offical server from a big company, or game, I only joined servers from people I played with IRL, or a community server from people I played online with.
They are all mostly basic servers with a few voice channels and one music/meme posting channel.
It literally is just a modern version of Teamspeak or Ventrilo.
At best you join a community, where some higher ups/veterans have a private channel.
As many other people mentioned before here.
You can't criticize zoomies because some goyslop company has a gulag system where you have to slob on their knob to not get banned, or get acess to content.
Because the majority of the late 90s and early to late 2000s forum was full of gate keeping faggots and circle jerkers, that had their own faggy cliques in these forums.
I could at least understand if you critique it for being CCP spyware, or that it is full of pedos trying to lure children in for their degenerat behaviour.
And even then, the early internet chatrooms and forums were also full of pedos.
The early internet forums were just as bad with people powertripping, white knighting, or gate keeping behaviour.
Especially tech forums are full unfriendly autist that powertrip on their shitty forum titles and priviliges to this day.
