That only sounds good when you're still using Yuri. When you switch to diva+ss1 as your damage dealer, having a blaster+buffer+mini defender in one slot sounds a lot better than using 2 separate characters for that.

I was wondering how to make a thunder team for the 38m hp flathand anachrony (chapter 4 version).

What are your thoughts on this team:

* Yingxia S
* Aoi 2 lb1
* Tama5 lb1
* Thunder Charl (thunder weakness, vulnerability)
* Thunder Yuina (blaster)
* Muua (healer)

I wanted to use Megu5 after she comes out next week but i realised it was impossible to slot her in unless i give up the healer slot, since it is impossible for Tama5 to heal + buff unless you are using a SP generator like Kozue (and I don't have any SP generators).

I noticed that most of the videos of this fight involve using Aoi2's introjected Angel Wings to tank Vile Vortex (the one with all the debuffs) + Kozue to generate enough SP. Since i cant do that, i dont think i will have enough SP to use Angel Wings to tank Vile Vortex.

Any suggestions?

Well, there's hell of a difference between "helps" and "must roll." The only scenario where I see it being a must roll is if you're planning to build your account around using her future unison as your main damage dealer and not just blaster support, then you surely want to roll for it. Otherwise, it's just a nice bonus, but not something you can't live without on any comp using Karen.

That's a really tough question there.

There's also enemies that absorb thunder, but I think that's just level 4 orb bosses. Penetrating critical is ideal for dungeons and arts battle too. I do tear dungeon with both Inori and Hisame and it means I don't even have to think, just see boss, press button.

It's actually pretty hard to say when we're getting the nerfs. Initially, I thought it would be as soon as possible, around the anniversary, but then I realized that they also reworked score challenge difficulties together with the nerf, and previous score challenges that EN is still getting weren't designed around these changes at all. It's a bit complicated. The reason why you want Mari is her ice field. So you have three possibilities:
-No ice field (you won't find more damage this way, because ice def down options are a disaster until Hisame)
-Mari gives you the ice field as a buffer, but Adel kills. In this case Mari is only a 50% boost.
-Mari ss3 still providing the ice field and Adel simply setting her up.

The rest is simple math.
Adel: 2673*3.4 = 9088
Mari: 2502*1.5*2.2=8,256

But because you need Mari anyways, you can benefit from the two attacking in the same turn. You do need enough DR (200%) before Adel attacks, but one two punches are actually pretty good this way. Otherwise you'd save time.
As for this specific SA? Yeah well, max 2 Blaster uses makes it impossible for Adel to do everything herself.

Personally I'm lazy and want to save time. The SA I posted was a different one Global currently has, with some nasty effects fucking with you (-5 SP every 5 turns, and no switch allowed every 5 turns), which drags everything out more than enough already.

And iirc no shield broken bonus still applies if you use Vivifying Light which you can use during the OD turn after getting enough SP back.

Megumi SS5 is powerful for thunder teams right now with an 80% field, but do keep in mind that fields gets nerfed into the ground in the future, to the point that it's not worth taking a unit just for a field. So if you pull her, do it because you need the power for your thunder team now (or you're a big Megumi fan and just want her because of that).

I don't know much about dark so I can't tell you if people use swimsuit Karen, but that Ex skill is very useful if you want to use the newest Karen style on JP as your penetrating critical attacker. This would be a very long term investment, keep in mind.

Also Yanagi is part of the series of characters that have what are called solo activation buffs, they last a set turn duration and dont stack with anything else including themselves. That why it costs 18(+2) which is the same as Tama casting her buffs twice. So you really arent spending that much more.

Later in the game is also just a bunch of free SP skills/passive so even having higher costing SP skills isnt that big of a deal. For example Diva Ruka gives 2 SP to the vanguard if shes in Diva state.

Then theres the ease of getting into OD2-3 for even more SP.

Yanagi is actually cheaper to buff with than Suit Tama is. You only need to use the skill once like >>535516231 said, so it's 20 SP and one turn for Yanagi to buff, versus 34 SP and 4 turns for Tama to buff.

Bungo I think is fine, together with Karen they are dps, and Karen is really giga shilled here. Without her you actually might really need those 20 turns, but with her this figure goes down hard. Ruka is a no brainer. But I'd start to argue about the other slots.

Yanagi is very offensive, but has no defense, Seira is a lot more stable especially once you get to the higher difficulty levels and have low LBs on supports and such her def buff is extremely appreciated. Obviously a matter of what you have but I prefer that because I also prefer Admiral Aoi. The -1 SP cost in such a spammy environment +1 extra OD bar goes a long way in this battle to start things up (they literally want you to NOT use Yanagi's passive, telling you the story). And then she offers more survival.
Then Misato is just a better Yuina for this, as she has 12 natural aoe hits that become 15 in OD.

This team feels more like they slapped together the most premium styles they could think of.. and Fubuki. You don't even want a debuffer here. Absolutely pointless. If you have damage issues between Bungo, Karen, Ruka and someone giving you big enhances + mind eye, you have too low stats. Then only morale will help (aka Aoi, Kozue and the likes).


But speaking of which, anyone who beat the last one should be allowed to punch the game design staff of HBR into the face. No level cap increase, only +~30 stats from the link. If you had "minimum" damage last one (aka border matched with crit), you literally deal 1 damage now even with the ~30 stats. Fuckers. Aside of ex giving really fucking mattering rewards as well, and that goes up by another 150+. They fucked this up so hard.

I "only" play 4 gacha games (Arknights, R1999, BA, HBR) but I made it a rule that the dailies need to not take more than 5 minutes each because I do my dailies while drinking my coffee in front of my WFH desk. I'll do event reading on the weekend. For HBR I just do one day a day for story mode since those are super long.

The only game that kind of breaks my rule is Blue Archive because of things like raids and JFD but I like Blue archive since the events are super short and the game is as close as you can get to f2p friendly without being like Azur Lanr or GF1. 1. Given the final scene her mother's death feels more like a cover story at this point. With her father being potentially JSDF, it could be that they found out about Ruka being a Narby and "silenced" her mother for security reasons.
2. Seraphs can get damaged and/or break, and that one attack that she did probably broke one of her swords. But her problem could also be a mental thing given that the sword's outright not showing up instead of showing up damaged like it does with Asami. We can only wait for 5.2 for more answers.

When you start, you get to pick any SS1 for free. It's not too important since SS1's are pretty easy to get, and in a few months global gets even easier access to them with tickets. I wasted mine on Yukki and haven't used her since chapter 1.
The best one is probably Yingxia if you're best starting out, but there's also Aoi which is pretty good.

If you meet reroll target as in for the current ongoing banner, then 'arts battle featured recruitment' is a pretty good one as it has SS2 inori (ez mode crit pierce unit), Suit tama (staple buffer), SS1 Yotsuha (staple fire buffer), and SS1 Yingxia (human rights) on it.

They're decent memorias, but none of them are particularly great, or staples.
if you want specifics on the performance of all the units, you can check the tojofiles and game8 links in the OP.

I'd recommend choosing an element/character you want and building a team around them as the game isn't that hard as long as you follow the general strategy of stacking a bunch of buffs/debuffs.
If you just want a unit that can blast through most of the content in the game, then the aforementioned SS2 Inori is that since she got her buffs way ahead of schedule, and doesnt need to worry about weaknesses/resistances

If you start today, i reccomend rerolling on the arts battle. In this timeframe try to get enough quartz to also finish the banner for the spark but thats only a few days, with a good reroll paypigging for the banner is also smart. You want to finish this banner with atleast a tama and inori. You get yingxia with the selector unless you get extremely lucky and get multiple copies, if so you get aoi from the selector.
