That end was so funny, I was trying to get that one last hit in but he kept chasing and teleporting after duchess

after beating everdark libra a few times i think this is the worst fight in the game, worse than both augurs.

the entire fight is basically a giant stagger damage/madness buildup DPS check. If you have good stagger damage and madness spells he's the easiest boss in the game, if you dont you get to deal with constant gank waves. This sucks ass because there is only ONE weapon that has inherent madness buildup (Vyke's War Spear).

So it's also super RNG heavy since if you get that or if you're Revenant/Recluse/Duchess and you get a good madness spell on a sacred seal its GGs you win for free. But if you don't its pure hell. Wylder is also significantly better than other non-spellcasters here because of being the best user of Vyke's War Spear + having the best Art for stagger buildup.

I did do a run with an Ironeye who had the flame of frenzy while walking effect, he was our only source of madness buildup and triggered it exactly one time which clutched us the boss. So maybe that is viable too but again that's super dependent on RNG.

Pick up a melee weapon and play the game like everyone else, honestly. Bows still are always going to be doing less damage than a melee weapon. They're good for hitting hits in while moving in or out of melee of course, but not for using instead of melee.

Ability is to sacrifice a small amount of health for a strong weapon buff that lasts for one hit, basically a royal knights resolve on-demand. ultimate is summoning a beast that you can ride around on, changing your weapon moveset to be similar to torrent and giving you high speed

The condemned drop a big golden orb that lets you deal more damage to Libra. The 'strat' is to gang up on a condemned so someone gets the buff then that person attacks Libra, the other 2 keep dealing with the condemned until they can pick up a glowing orb.

The Alabastor Lord Pull makes this fight way easier since the AI will not dodge it and the radius is so wide. The hardest part is getting specific shitty condemned and when Libra starts a riot because the riot doesn’t even work properly 90% of the time and you just got 6 invaders now with team damage on. The fight is very satisfying to beat though, especially the runs where you beat it in sub 2 minutes.

I just stack fp bonuses and throw spells. For this fight specifically, you need the faster spells because of all the explosions and summons capable of interrupting you. Discus of light is a safe pick if you get it. Flame of frenzy is more damage but also more prone to interruptions. If you have ultimate recharges on kills, each condemned dying will give you 5%.

Most annoying condemned is the poison bloodhound step executor and it’s not even close.

The biggest issue that is sadly common even among erg is that cunts can’t roll and stretch the invaders so far and wide that snowballing keeps fucking happening. I think his invader summoning animation works similiar to Malenia's hyperarmor moves, meaning you still do poise damage to Libra but if you stance break him, it just resets to full poise health but skips the stagger animation so you are kinda discouraged from hitting him during it

The problem with ED Libra is the rng. I had some really horrible runs where we couldn't even bring it down to 50% hp and then some where the fight was over before I even realized it. All the other EDs you can just learn how to play and master the fight, this one is bullshit central and sometimes there's nothing you can do, libra will cast a madness circle on your feet and you'll get staggered by one of the summons outside of your screen and get one shot and there's nothing you can do, or you'll just aoe instakill all 3 summons and kill libra in less than a minute. Either the fight is an ez win or a bullshit loss, no in betweens.

I think lightning spear might actually be one of the worst lightning spells in nightreign, though ironically not a bad spell for libra because its fast, for FP dumping though i would probably go with honed bolt spam.
its funny cause i watched a youtuber say it was S tier spell because and I quote "its guaranteed on gravel seal", as if thats a reason for a spell to be considered good. (its not, but it could be a reason a spell school is good if a guaranteed spell is serviceable)
Also this guy didnt carry that same logic over to pebble toss, another reminder that these tier list youtubers are just expressing their feelings and arent using logic.

I doubt it, that spell has insane amount of recovery frames so you will get murdered if it doesnt 1 shot the adds. im curious if it does 1 shot the adds actually, i dont know.
frenzied burst will 2 shot the adds and absolutely chunk libra while building madness on him as well and it has insane range. its a rare spell though
If you have a lot of shards then i would maybe FP bump a dragon breath spell on the adds as they summon.

Also maybe use a "defeated enemies restore art gauge" relic and use ult boosting relics like ghostflame and/or damage buff, use the 2 handed bonk boy when he summons adds and ult so it explodes ult and tells your guy to start doing spinning attack for extra aoe
