if you are a caster the shields are mostly whatever because the npcs don't input read with their shields quite as well against spells, and increasing the tankiness of clones by 20% and their damage is pretty bad in my opinion

The mark gives a passive 10% damage bonus to the enemy for as long as it's up. It accumulates stagger damage and then pops for a bitchload of damage. It singlehandedly makes ironeye one of the strongest characters in the game. You want hte +1 skill usage to give you a huge amount of iframes, be able to dodge boss abilities with it, as well as keep the mark up consistently.

Increasing damage for depths is a a really retarded move, no hit runs are the biggest autism magnet around. Even increasing hp by 2x+ would be dumb since runs are already 40-45 minutes long so it should just be capped at like 1.5x. They should just do what roguelikes already do for their end game content and make it so there a new challenge as you go down a depth, something to test the ability of a player in nightreign rather than the mental disability of a true souls god. Maybe they can change them monthly and with each depth you have to deal with all depth challenges before. My vision for it would be something like;
>Depth 1 - Rune acquisition reduced by 20%/Some bonfires removed/Nightlord is hidden
>Depth 2 - Enemy attacks cause bleed/Enemies have 1hit bubble/Enemy stancebreak resist increased

Recluse is super good. It's the only char I can actually pseudo-carry with on Libra. So much potential to just blow up all three condemned instantly every time if you build correctly for high magic damage. Libra won't spawn his meme circles under you while he's summoning, so it's free setup. Plus, if you get a frenzy seal, you can keep him sperging for most of the fight.

In most cases all this is is you look at your party, do you see revenant or duchess/recluse? If so, path to the nearest great church or fort(more rarely rise, which they may go get the starlights eventually regardless).
Forts and churches are really easy, so past the start if they split off to go get them, it's no big deal, they don't even have to fight the bosses they can just loot the stonesword chest and their items then come back while you continue to clear, look you get to do more gaols for less commitment.

If you have enough stamina spirit surge will 100% get you out of it. Just need like 30% stamina at all time can play it safe.

yeah, before ES libra came along my winrate was abnormally high like i'm sure most of us know how to route by now and the bosses have become sandbags.

i don't have a positive winrate on ES libra yet but the fight is an actual challenge especially if you get not-so-optimal teammates, which is way more fun than just going through the motions.
