What's wrong with tiering on a PVP game? It's player versus player, obviously you'd want to get a leg up on other players. It's not like it's a casual thing like the hoyolike games so optimizing to maximize chances of getting the vanity titles from CM seems pretty valid.
Though yes, I think a lot of things will change based on CM. If the global server is casual then people will tryhard a lot less since they can get max rewards for way less effort but in the rare case that the global server is at least half as tryhardy as the JP server then they'll likely just double down.

It's based on their current global performance but there's a lot of funnies like recommending Suzuka for her oonige skill (That she won't have for a long while) or recommending Teio as a 5/5 (Even though she's trash without the buffs that won't happen for a long while)

I think it's a bit unfair to compare all global players to how we play the game since we're definitely not a good representation of how the general nips might play the game. We're only a tiny minority after all.
Plus, I guess globalfags don't have the luxury of being able to experience keiba first-hand and a severe lack of sources where they can read more about the hors, so maybe the story doesn't hold as much of an appeal to them.

As a lurking globalfag myself, the story does hold a lot of appeal to me but what do you expect me to roll with when every good banner is packed in the timespan of 2 months and we're given only enough to roll for one of them?

I usually get there by 9:30 or so, depending on what time slot I got with my entry ticket.
As for attractions, they rotate the events around every weekend, so I can't give a proper answer outside of the JRA museum (as seen in Chrono's story), a hors show that usually starts a few minutes before the main race of the day, hors petting event that starts very early in the day, and just going around eating food.

Ah, how people make their non-meta hors work. Yeah, nah, no one's going to document those. Easier way would be to just load your favourite hors with the meta skills you can get from support cards, and inherit good distance affinity and unique skills, that should be enough to give you a fighting chance for most CM until the super power creep sets in.
Meta hors are meta because of their unique skill, but that's not the only defining factor for winning a race. You can go pretty far by having or borrowing the right card to get the right skill for that distance.

I watched the anime years ago and kept watching it at releases but game wise is it true that as time goes on new umas get (overall) more for (you)?
The game has surprised me with so much romantic subtext and because of that it made me like umas I did not expect to like, I always had the impression of yuribait because of the first 3 anime seasons and the annoying retards in social media spamming how they all are lesbians, like opera, who in the game literally declares to her trainer.
So I just wanted to know what awaits in the future with all these upcoming umas, I definetly get way more invested with a bit of love involved

I guess so yeah. The writing quality improves every year but UmaxT romance is a thing in most uma's career that I don't really notice if recent umas are "more for you". Sure there is Loves Only You who set the bar for romance but there's one or two umas like that every year (Cesario, CB, Ardan, etc.)
Also don't bother with event stories because the nature of Trainers means you never show up in them.

After you get your stats, cup autism is more about the skills you have access to and what are best for that specific track, length, curve placement, etc, you'll see some mutant uma running in places they should not belong to because their skills are good. Pretty sure Goldshi (when max level) is great on medium and long, you should also try to have a variety in strategy in order to maximize the chances of one winning
