Ruina and Limbus were doomed from the beginning to have bad game design from day 1.
Clash system, while cool and innovative, ensures that you basically never have to deal with an enemy's kit if you can consistently win clashes and there's no skill involved, unlike other games where you can prevent an enemy from ever touching you.
At least Limbus tried introducing unbreakable coins and severely limits how much you can break the game, but the former still needs adjustment and the latter has its own issues (that are still preferable to the bullshit you are allowed to do in Ruina).
