I know what items I need. A better rolled Bloodbarrier with 60% at least. A Kaoms heart with a good health roll. Maybe some grand spectrum ruby's. Astramentis or Defiance of Destiny.
All of which is exceedingly expensive. And while I would like a lot of that stuff, I just don't see myself farming for hours on end because they don't actually change anything I do when I get them.

Man i liked the league, but it's already kinda over.
There's just no new content in endgame, and whatever there is takes less time than campaign.
I pushed through the atlas on nearly campaign gear ffs, and the only thing i probably need upgrades for is t4 bosses and arbiters (to oneshot them all, or i can try them on the build i have now and get my "3 minutes of skilled combat" as Jonathan intended). And i'm a wagie with like 2 hours of daily playtime alotted tops. My friend who can play a bit more was pretty much done on day 4.

When you hit with the hammer it feels like a wet noodle feel wise but there is a gigantic comical aoe dust cloud as if you are a 20foot tall giant.
It feels disconnected and bad and mobs don't get knocked down or knocked back or ragdoll away from your hits, they just kinda stand there and rock back and forth until they flop on the ground suddenly in the same way as the 5 next to them.

I think the thing you have a problem with is PoE has no physics engine.
It has like cloth physics and things on armour sets but there is no actual world physics going on, when you break a barrel this is just a barrel animated to break in that way etc, so yes, it is canned animation. On Warbringer Leap Slam. It's a little counter intuitive but my goal is to pull of pic related and make my enemies primed for stun. The issue is that the better leap slam I have the worse it becomes because it starts killing mobs before I pull my combo off. I only want to kill my mobs with Bone Shatter. With this I can basically guarantee I wipe out any large pack regardless of the mob type.

Stack STR to buff Corrupting Cry
Stack Life to buff Bloodbarrier Shield.
Stack Blockchance to make Bloodbarried Trigger on pretty much every hit aimed at you.
For Ascendancy get Warcallers Bellow, Renly's Training, Turtle Charm and lastly Jade Heritage.
Get Deidbell early on it's a good buff. Weapon damage doesn't matter once you get your first Ascendancy, only STR does, though I like to get as much Attack Speed as possible because I like to use Leap Slam with Holy Descent because we basically want to be getting hit as much as possible.
Use Time of Need with Compressed Duration, Time of Need and Cannibalism and things like Urgent Call for 2% HP every time you use a Shout, which should be like 10+ every second for how fast you should be shouting at endgame. Plus Second Wind will heal you for 2% of your health every cast of the shout too. I'm on 5k HP with shit gear, you should be able to get to 8k with some decent gear.
Magma Barrier is okay early on for some easy block chance.
Parry will help you trigger Bloodbarrier on shield and stagger bosses, use Prolonged Duration on it.
