Reality:
>Any passive life regen you get is pitiful
>Life flasks can run out and become less effective the more HP you have
>Mitigation is not effective enough and no way to scale it off the tree is very noticeable
>ES can reach truly absurd numbers to the point where even hybrid builds have as much life as they have ES if not more
>Is incredibly quickly recovered in various ways:
>Ghost Dance provides consistent in combat recovery for hybrids
>Pure ES builds can invest in faster start of ES recharge which completely outshines flasks or passive regen
>Convalescence exists as an emergency flask just in case you're in trouble
And finally, this patch they also add a way to get 40% generic damage reduction for ES Hybrids.
