Yeah look, I tried to explain how it's unfair to the other 15 people in the guild if all 5 of the people who can tank decide to all just do keys all day together (in sl s1 keys weren't free on a 10 to just pug like they are right now), one of the officers was in that group to. I just got told to kick rocks and sort yourself out. Other people were complaining too.

This was like my 3rd tier with the guild, I played a hybrid the previous 2 tiers and tanked keys, and there were 2 other people who left to join a new guild who did the same, and so the clique grew and I was asked if I could swap off the BROWN (because 2 friends of officer was coming in and warrior looked absolute dogshit). It was the first tier they didn't get hall of fame (which became a trend).

That point on I just refuse to play pure dps even if the guild I'm joining is like "we will help you do keys!!111", because they never ever do because they invite from the clique outwards (and the clique is always online during heckin week 1 keez).

All the shit they have added with regards to defensives and extra healing CDs doesn't really make the game more fun (it actually makes it more frustrating). However niggas like theun have been banging at this for awhile now, and nothing has come of it and it just continues a negative trend.

Reality is blizzard is clueless to with tank and healer role design. You can tell because it took until dragonflight to finally address hpaladins and disc priest just being incredibly valuable for their passive damage alone, and only like 1-2 years ago did we finally get an atonement m+ healing ratio. Tanks should do like 70-80% of a DPS (they can play chicken with the number until people start taking extra tanks over DPS in raid), have more fun/intuitive damage rotations that feels satisfying to use (I think prot paladin has been the poster boy of fun DPS rotation tank).

You’re misunderstanding the loot system. Ilvl is like a general parameter. Between say 700-710 is heroic gear. But let’s say you run two dungeons and get two gloves to drop back to back. One is 701 and the other 710. You don’t just instantly jump on the 710, you need to look at the stats and what’s needed for your role and build. If the 701 is tier set but the 710 isn’t, generally you would take the tier. Or if the 710 isn’t Crit and Verse but you need Haste and Mastery, take the 701. As long as you’re in the range of the proper ilvl that’s all that really matters, ilvl itself isn’t everything.
