Whimpering Wastes in wuwa has to be the worst endgame mode I've ever played in any gacha.
It's so unfun. You're just spamming worthless aoe rotations for 2 minutes hoping that the enemies don't decide to move 5 feet away (which they are programmed to do, instead of programmed to attack you), and leave you with 1 enemy alive preventing the next wave spawn.
They keep making the enemies have more and more hp every reset, actually insane hp inflation. The tower is a complete joke, but they decide to keep inflating the hp in this dogshit mode to the point where aoe units like camellya can barely get 3k anymore, and only with perfect enemy behavior. Keep in mind I killed one of the last Hologram 6 with my Camellya in like 30 seconds because it took full AOE damage on all 3 of its bodies. Completely dumpstered the "hardest challenge" in the game, but somehow she's barely good enough to do their dogshit whimpering wastes mode.

the only character I didnt hate is Cipher, and that's probably just because she was barely in the story and didn't overstay her welcome endlessly circle monologuing about muh flame journey and other insipid slop.

I felt zero sympathy for phainon, and don't care about him or elysia at all. The 3 billion cycles mean nothing, it actually makes it less significantly less impactful because there is no sense of proper scale or time. If it was 25-50 cycles total the stakes would feel actually real.

I actually don't hate Hyacine, but she's an entirely pointless character that means nothing. Her whole story was the definition of pointless filler.

Aglaea is so loathsome, are you supposed to like her? There is nothing about her to like, she deserved to get stabbed to death.

is it just me or is this whimpering wastes insanely hp inflated again in wuwa? Feels like they constantly try and do these insane difficulty spikes in wuwa, but then run it back everytime because people just quit their game instead of whaling.
This is like the 3rd time this has happened.
I went from close to 8k points last time to barely getting S rank.
Honestly makes me feel like just quitting wuwa, they've been doing this shit forever. Even before wiwa existed, they did this a couple of times with towers that were randomly super hard compared to the previous one, and then they nerfed it within a day because people couldnt clear and just gave up on the game.

How is saintontas spinning this one? It was really bad. The mobs are even havoc resistant, so you can't camellya to cheat out the S rank.

This is way worse than any ZZZ difficulty spike.

It's just the thought pattern of going to a restaurant for an (expensive) meal, but then "compromising", and making it "okay to waste money" because you're getting "inexpensive" kimbap that annoys me. I hate that kind of retard half-assed thinking, and makes me hate the main character immediately. if you're going to waste your money on a restaurant, get an actual meal, don't pretend that it's okay that you're wasting money because you're getting kimbap instead of an actual meal. It's that type of thought pattern which makes the character more of a retard loser than wasting all of their money on an actual expensive restaurant meal.
