Efilism is interesting, because it would be one hell of an escalation from what we just got. It honestly might be a little TOO crazy even for The Fire Rises. If Schwab is an enemy of humanity, the efilism path has you be the enemy of existing. Maybe play that up. and have a secret boss where you as the efilist team go into direct conflict with Schwab once several conditions are achieved. It would be a conflict where the secret evil Illuminati organisation is somehow the lesser evil.
There are going to be key differences from Schwab of course. Veganism alone has a fuck-ton of splinter factions and gatekeeping. They can't even decide whether it's ok to eat oysters or honey. Yes, very much so. I would say try to keep the ai stuff more limited in scope then say the Old World Blues mod. I do enjoy Loji but I do not want to see each country have their own ai. Esotericism is great and schizomaxxing nations makes the mod standout from the 'no fun allowed' modding community for other big mods. I understand you may not want to give any info about this just yet and I won't ask for a timeline but will the Japanese militarist path be extensive? Whilst I think just trying to recreate their WW2 plan for an Asian Empire would be silly I see a lot of room for both gameplay and story with them. Not so sure about having to elect Communists to get them though, maybe something closer to how Germany functions with their war victory/loss mechanic but with Taiwan. Mishima was based.
