I love this type of thread, thanks for keeping it up long enough for me to notice it. I'll do a small dump of my collection, most of this thread is IRL style, so I'll try to keep to that.

And now Walmart has purchased Monroeville Mall. (For non-Pittsburgh anons, that's a piece of local history, being the filming location for Dawn of the Dead.)

I thought it got torn down a few years ago.

This picture feels like it completely captures the feeling of America during a time like The Goonies, I.T (the 90s one), Jumanji and all those sorts of suburbs from those movies. Americans are so goddamn lucky.

Surely places like that are still around? I doubt the things in the more quiet/rural parts of the US like in that picture have turned total shit, especially places like Maine.

this aesthetic is one of the big reasons I haven't moved out of the PNW and back to the desert. The rain gets annoying sometimes when you're trying to do thing, but watching the PNW rain from a bedroom window is a calm I've rarely experienced in my life. The desert gets some crazy rain and thunderstorms, but the vibe is not the same.

Anon, moving away from the depression generator that is Oregon/Washington is the best move you’ll ever make. Every day can be delightful because you won’t wake up to gray skies. Texas beckons, anon.

Thank you for this photo. I love the simplicity and the vibrancy it makes me feel love for life again after surrounding myself in dark bleakness the sky is so vibrant and beautiful as is the grass God gave us such vast luscious beauty to bask in
