Brain-circumcised. Or mentacised. "Golem" is good, but it doesn't get to the core of the matter. In the neurocised you see the following:
1) Lack of sensitivity and discernment
The sensitive outer sheathe of their mind has been removed, everything they know as themselves and their thoughts are the product of their bare brain dimly rubbing on everything they encounter.
2) Desensitization.
Their bare brain desensitizes over time, learning to damp most inputs. They don't reason or think because even of the signals they do get, the noise floor is too high. They can't pick out what is relevant and fall back on mechanical rituals and scripts which work "good enough".
3) Lack of dynamicism, rigidity
They have no sensory sheathe to move around on their brain, so they have equally diminished inner control. They can't control their mind. Like trying to figure out what an object is without fingers.
4) Malleability and cohesion
If nearly everyone is circumcised, the best way to deal with amnplified dominance and submission dynamics caused by constant non-descript and inescapable stimuli, is by submitting to ritual. 5) Scarring and keratinization
The brain damaged brain-circumcised have been deeply traumatized (beginning with preverbal trauma to split the core self), this leaves scars and hypersensitive areas. So they come together within, like children playing a game, and learn to create a robotic shell to insulate themselves from the world. They hide in the robot and it protects parts of the inner world.
6) As above, so below.
Maim the body, you shall maim the mind. Maim the mind, it shall be reflected on the body, eventually. Therefore brain circumcision is bidirectional. The brain can be circumcised through the body, or, the whole being can be circumcised through the mind. The foreskin itself need not be touched.
