I used to have an old, fat black lady neighbor with fucking facial hair who wore sunglasses to hide the fact that she lost her eye when she was younger because she got sliced up but the wife of some dude she was fucking in the 80s.
Pongo looks just like she did! COVID killed her off.
Ms Willamae, I have no idea how you got dick at all looking like a ducking orangutan but I thought your stories of hoin' for Big Macs were hilarious. Rest in peace, you ugly slut.
And yes, I did, in fact, talk with her like this. She was a cool old dirty bitch.

Geeze why do you guys hate snakes so much? Not all of them are vicious creatures. Pretty much any reptile be it crocodiles, turtles, or lizards would go ahead and hunt fish. And of course it's not just a reptile thing, Birds like ducks, seagulls or penguins eat fish as their primary diet, and pretty much any major omnivorous or carnivorous mammal would not hesitate to eat one. Heck fish eat fish like sharks. It's all fair game.

People are scared of all of those too. Well not so much scared as generally hateful in the case of seagulls. Hippos seem to trigger some sort of "round = safe and cute" instinct but seeing them with their jaws open generally cures people of that real fast.

If they have a problem its a sight of your care being wrong and can lead to bigger issues, so the first thought should be is my humidity correct, not can use air to help them.

Sometimes young animals are gullible?
Near me, there's a few wild rabbits living in some bushes. The adults stay pretty far away, even if I toss carrots at them. There's one bun though, and it just sits there, no matter how close I get. I haven't tried petting it, but I did bounce a carrot right off it's face from a couple feet away. It didn't care.
Some day, one of the hawks or eagles will probably snatch it right up.

"Fight or flight" survival response is inaccurate. It should be renamed to "Fight, flight, or freeze"
The fawn was curious/dumb, as many young animals are, but when it got too close it's freeze/hide instinct kicked in. It's an autonomic response, and fawns literally looses the ability to move when it happens.

>>5032427
Fun fact. Bunnies tend to freeze to not be seen when threatened but hares stand up tall when danger is present so they can see the threat coming. Both will eventually run away but the bunny will run to somewhere it can hide out for a bit, while the hare simply runs and outpaces the threat in a test of speed and endurance.

Their response to danger
It's actually a big problem, cause people find these deer babies huddled up and assume they're abandoned so they take them to ranger stations, but their parents (like webm) are nearby and aware of them. They're just doing their thing as their baby hides. The deer equivalent of:
>I'm going into this store, honey, so sit on this bench and play your phone games until I'm done.
People just really want to help animals.
