The violinist really feels the emptions of the piece, at one point she is literally snarling while the music is reaching its most hectic.
There's a lot of great stories behind various classical compositions. Fur Elise was written initially as this very easy to play piece, then when Beethoven found out that the woman he was attempting to court with it was seeing someone else, he wrote in a section that was far beyond her capabilities. Scriabin wrote Mysterium in an attempt to end the world. But my favorite story is the story behind The Pas de Deux in Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky.
