Civilian is also a grest album by Wye Oak, there's a bit more energy than The Knot and things start to sound cleaner, but there's still plenty of tracks with the depressed vocals, miserable lyrics, and trudging drums. Shriek is what I would call their last great album. They're really moving away from that earlier dream pop aesthetic and into synthpop, everything sounds glitzy, lyrics and vocals are brighter, etc, but still the album has a lot to offer. Their most recent album they've gone really bright happy sounding folk music and it's really not for me.

I'm always interested in seeing what other people have made. Shame you misplaced them, I try to hold onto as much of my work as I can, or at least send it off somewhere for safe keeping. If you do have anything that you have made that ypu are willing to show, I'd be interested to see those too.
