What does MET stand for?
I do most of that except for bench. No sandbags yet, but I'm planning to get them eventually.
My routine:
A
weighted pullups (fatgrips)
weighted dips on rings
front squats (though i'm rather conservative with the weight)
weighted back extensions
lateral raises (fatgrips)
standing french press with a short barbell (fatgrips)
hanging leg raises (fatgrips)
wrist roller

B
weighted australian pullups on rings (fatgrips)
1 arm ohp with dumbbell
db kroc row (fatgrips)
weighted pushups on handles
curls with neutral grip barbell (fatgrips)
ab roller
weighted ring flyes (mostly pump work, not going heavy)

C (sub-day)
calf raises with a db (fatgrips)
pullups on wooden balls

Each one is done once a week with high intensity and mostly to failure with rest pause.
Basically MET (whatever that is) meets MEnTzer, though I hope I haven't been MEmed hard.

I think you are wrong and prejudiced. Exercises such as pistol squat or single leg deadlift can load your muscles with more efficiency, they are harder.
When I finished single leg deadlift I felt pain and tension in hamstrings. The exercise really works.
You think 17 kg is little but you forget that the leg was also lifting body weight.

>Yeah you need straps early on. I bought chalk but even with that it's always forearms giving out. I wonder what my actual DL strength is
Straps are a meme. If God wanted you to lift so much, he would give you stronger grip and fingers. Powersharting is a meme. It's blasphemy.

Nothing against these exercises in particular but they have to be overloaded and trained close to failure and people very often bullshit themselves into doing "hard" but far from failure workouts.

You see sandbags are just really efficient. To emulate a sandbag lift you’d have to do a bunch of different lifts. Deficit deadlifts, zercher squats, bicep curls, reverse curls, wrist curls with a fat grip to emulate the open finger position, pec flies for squeezing, rows or pull ups for pulling it in, unilateral variations to emulate the shoulder position, loaded carries, and it STILL wouldn’t be as effective as the real thing. It’s an exercise in futility. I’m just trying to save anons money and time here.

I also have a back extension bench that actually takes up some space but seemed rehabilitate my busted lower back (from heavy bb compounds in actual gyms, no less), so I don't regret getting it rather than a bench.
I could replace this pullup bar with a cage setup that would allow me to bench, squat and so on, but I'm staying away from it on purpose. fucked my lower back, probably herniated a couple discs, it got better with time (meaning years), lower back extensions have helped a lot, but any exercise that's likely to give you such an injury might have a bad risk-reward ratio, because realistically what will heavy squats bring you that safer exercises cannot? there's not much use for being able to squat a shitload on a barbell and a lot to lose if your spine goes to the snap city
>is it like half of ohp in terms of weight or is it harder?
prolly harder just like any other db variant, pressing 50kg dbs on a bench is harder than benching 2 plates on a barbell and if I remember correctly OHpressing 75kg was easier than that

It depends on your body proportions, the only way to really know what works for you is experimenting.

Same thing. My bench grip is relatively narrow, but that's because I have a wide torso and relatively short arms. A guy with a narrow torso and longer arms would probably benefit from a wider grip.
