What does MET stand for?
I do most of that except for bench. No sandbags yet, but I'm planning to get them eventually.
My routine:
A
weighted pullups (fatgrips)
weighted dips on rings
front squats (though i'm rather conservative with the weight)
weighted back extensions
lateral raises (fatgrips)
standing french press with a short barbell (fatgrips)
hanging leg raises (fatgrips)
wrist roller

B
weighted australian pullups on rings (fatgrips)
1 arm ohp with dumbbell
db kroc row (fatgrips)
weighted pushups on handles
curls with neutral grip barbell (fatgrips)
ab roller
weighted ring flyes (mostly pump work, not going heavy)

C (sub-day)
calf raises with a db (fatgrips)
pullups on wooden balls

Each one is done once a week with high intensity and mostly to failure with rest pause.
Basically MET (whatever that is) meets MEnTzer, though I hope I haven't been MEmed hard.

>Exercises such as pistol squat or single leg deadlift can load your muscles with more efficiency, they are harder.
Nothing against these exercises in particular but they have to be overloaded and trained close to failure and people very often bullshit themselves into doing "hard" but far from failure workouts.

> When I finished single leg deadlift I felt pain and tension in hamstrings.
You can feel tension and pain and still be very far from failure especially for 12++ rep sets

My sandbag almost weighs 200lbs now.
Anyone who says they’re a meme is a dyel who has never actually tried them. My back has gotten so thick I no longer look small in a shirt and I couldn’t hurt my back if I tried. Never touched a barbell before, don’t plan to except to test my strength in a few months. You absolutely don’t need iron if you’re on a budget.

isometrics are a meme
Sure if there's NOTHING else you can do - for example for hams, you could do a hard stretch for 10-15 min but that's about it as far as practical utility goes

just figured you could get a cheap-ish boxing bag, get rubber granulate or something like that that won't make too much mess, fill pre-fill bags, put bags into the boxing bag, tape it and it should be ready to use for less than 75 eur
it sounds quite simple

Because its challenging to me. This is where I am starting. Or started, I hit 6 reps today. Next time its 7 or bust.

I very much disagree. There’s no better exercise for the whole posterior chain than a heavy sandbag lift. No barbell lift comes close.
I do calisthenics and isolations with bands but if I had access I’d probably use dbs and machines for that.

You see sandbags are just really efficient. To emulate a sandbag lift you’d have to do a bunch of different lifts. Deficit deadlifts, zercher squats, bicep curls, reverse curls, wrist curls with a fat grip to emulate the open finger position, pec flies for squeezing, rows or pull ups for pulling it in, unilateral variations to emulate the shoulder position, loaded carries, and it STILL wouldn’t be as effective as the real thing. It’s an exercise in futility. I’m just trying to save anons money and time here.

I mean in that sense if your goal is to minimize time and money spent sure. Just keep in mind that the stimulus each muscle is getting is highly suboptimal. You'll make gains until a certain point and then it'll really slow down
