Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 0.72g per pound of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and lose fat much quicker. Not lifting results in the body eating away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

Went to the public park gym and tried doing dips for the first time. I can almost do good negative dips at 107kg bodyweight but it's a bit rough. Also played around on the monkey bars for a bit but couldn't move more than one bar before falling. Any tips for how to improve at this bodyweight?

Counting calories is for absolute retards. Yes you will lose weight but in an unhealthy way and feel like shit. Eat a low carb high fat diet with regular calories and you body will naturally adapt to burn fat and feel less hungry naturally. Also you won't get loose skin and you can easily fast for a few days or weeks if you need to lose some skin or want to heal your body. If you get less than 15-50g carbs a day you will naturally adapt to ketosis but it requires you to never cheat on it or you will feel like absolute shit and the first 2 weeks might be hard because of the sugar withdrawal symptoms. Sugar is one of the most dangerous and addictive drugs , worse than cocaine.

I'm similar. When I'm fasted, I'm full of energy and motivated, but as soon as I eat, I just slow down and go "meh". I've noticed it with 16/8, with OMAD, and with alternate day fasting. I loooove working out fasted, but working out anytime after I've eaten just feels okay compared to fasted. No idea what that's about, but its a huge shift in how I feel.
Also that sort of stomach hunger just feels weirdly nice, hard to explain.

yea its right a caloric deficit will get you some ketones and fat burning of course. I am talking about your entire body adapting to that process and increasing it, starting to use it more and more efficiently and gaining more of the benefits. You lose fat with a more efficient and higher rate while also feeling much more energized and constant in your energy instead of crashing every time your body is forced to deal with carbs. Its just more efficient that way but yea if you wanna be slower and feel worse while doing it go ahead it does work for some. For me getting rid of sugar addiction while still eating delicious stuff until im saturated is just the much smarter and easier way to go about this. Nowadays you dont even need to stop eating sweet shit with how many keto alternatives there are, but I would recommend not doing too much of this because it is kinda still not too great with the insuline spiking differently afaik, so I just see it as a treat if I would crave something sweet or kinda starchy.

I can just tell you from personal experience that without any workout just sitting on my ass all day not even walking much except for to the bathroom and maybe down some stairs a few times a day, that I have lost around 50kg in a year eating a good amount of bacon with eggs every morning and then having something like a tuna salad with some more meat and cheese until I actually felt stuffed some of the days.

You gotta think that your body isnt retarded most of the times. If you give your body less calories it will adapt and burn less. Its actually probably even the worst way to lose weight by counting just calories without taking care where they come from. fucking calories are legit measured by seeing how well something burns, its just retarded.

The thing is that being muscular has very little to do with the effectiveness of a diet, since it either takes roids or years or hard training to build that much muscle regardless of if you're eating carbs or not.
You could be either on keto or you could be a vegan chugging 6 scoops of protein powder a day and still be jacked. The actual effectiveness of a diet is not about how muscular you are but how easy it is to get lean, burn fat, retain muscle, and adhere long term to the diet without gaining excess fat.

Of course advanced lifters gain less, they already built most of the muscle they are going to build.
