There isn't a single good reminders program for Linux. Everything I've tried either misses their notification times, or just notificates me for no reason when it shouldn't. How fucking complicated is it to make a good reminders app?

My mail provider allows me to set up multiple mail aliases. I was thinking on providing a different address for each of my online accounts by category (separated by increasing anonimity level): public goverment services -> private services (bank, insurance) -> e-commerce -> paid-for services -> non-paid-for services (forums and the like) -> private personal stuff.

However, most of my already existing accounts are already sharing my old two or three gmail and proton adresses. Obviously each service would easily track old->new address, and to some extent already hacked/leaked services could imply being able to cross/map old->new addresses; also, I am aware that having some services that are tied to my real-life identity implies that the whole account is tied to 'me', but I am no Snowden/Assange, so that is realistically in practice a non-issue for me.

I am merely asking wether with the hassle of changing all the emails I am to gain 'something' realistically in terms of privacy/security/anonimity in regards to leaks/hacks/big tech/tracking; or wether I would be just totally wasting my time here. Pls no bully
