Thank the both of you very much! I'm really glad the eyes haven't become redundant by this point, I have a lot of very ambitious ideas sometimes but it's that same ambition that makes me enjoy thinking of new designs for new girls.
>I quite like how manic looking it is
Probably one of the highest praises I've received in recent memory as well...it's one of those cases where the easier it becomes for me to express raw emotion like that the more I'll feel confident committing to. That just hit very close to home in a good way is all.
Also, here's that drawing I was talking about earlier but I've actually had permission to post it for a while. It's my first commission! I only wish I could've gotten it done more quickly but the guy was still very understanding and nice, going to add some final touches and then mail it over. Could've taken a better picture of this as well in hindsight but it's not like I have a scanning machine either. It's just great to finally get the ball rolling with this ^^

>I just drew it by hand in Krita with the pixel brush
Ahh, makes perfect sense now. I really ought to use that tool more in Krita myself but my dumbass couldn't find it among the brushes for months. Hope you try more exciting things of your own with it in the future!

I stew in these kinds of states a lot myself. There's nothing wrong with finding a nice middle ground between your casual drawings and a desire for something more thematic by trying things like comic strips or one-page stories every so often. Something that can start getting you more used to blending those kinds of ideas, silly ideas even work just fine since you have to be careful not to start anything too lofty right away as well. That can easily lead to more than one bad pitfall.
>I just want to do... something but i feel like im wasting precious time
Surely you have more time to work with than you might think. What kind of stuff have you been doing then if I may ask?

Been wanting to touch on this for a while now too. From what you and others have said, and what I believe I know of your workflow, sounds like that isn't a bad way to approach development at all if it's just you behind the reigns. I've tried comics before in the past when I was young and they were essentially improvised the entire way through based off a loose starting concept. That is going to naturally evolve as you go through your scenes and decide what will or won't make the cutting room floor, it's not something you need to actively consider every step of the way unless you're seriously trying to sort out a lot of overlapping story branches. When I do comic things these days (and I want to do a lot more than that anyways), the only real difference might sometimes only also be doing a rough sketch of things.
Seeing a comic by your hand sounds awesome frankly, is there anything more you'd be willing to share about it story-related or otherwise?
