I think I'm pretty fucked, lads. On bennies, in the work prep group, reassessment won't be coming I've been waiting 2 and a half years, and when I was at the bennies centre last time, I heard one of the advisors laughing about my advisor being asked about reassessments. I'll be classed as disabled soon, but will that get me anything? Hopefully I'll find out how to get on the housing list for a flat or bungalow, as I need to have all rooms on 1 floor, due to issues I've banged on about enough, so won't bore you.

I was on with a group who have things like that, but I haven't got a clue what to do or how to put it all together. I spoke to 1 woman on the phone who was saying that I might not get PIP yet and to get reassessed. I've said how that went (on here not to them). I emailed them (the company) explaining the situation an dhow I was struggling and my mum's helping which is eating into her pension. In the reply I got, a woman said I feel for you, and some other sympathetic stuff, and said if you need help get in touch, and we've got loads of information. I've not replied because I'm fuming. What the fuck does she think I'm doing? I'm contacting them for help.
All this is doing my head in. Constantly told there's help, then when I ask for it I (feel like) get nothing. Years of being passed around departments in the NHS with a bit of imcompetency, told oh we can't do anything now you're waiting for this neurology thing.

I have, all my conditions are on there, and the latest one of MS. Dr's note for a month saying my conditions, and I just get told I don't need to put in a sicknote, then told I'm waiting for a reassessment so there's nothing that can be done. The best is that they know about one of the major issues I have (bowel and bladder incontinence) and have just assigned me an advisor that is sort of deaf so can't do phone appointments, so I have to go down there. I showed her my MS card, and a card I have to show staff of shops I have issues and can I use a staff toilet in an emergency (most shops know of this scheme thing), and asked if there was a toilet to use in an emergency (told her sometimes I have seconds), and she said there's 1 at the other end of the building, or if that's in use, there's a bus station 1 a min walk down the road.
I'm fed up of their shit, and think I might need legal help, or put in a complaint, as I think it's taking the piss.

That sounds really shit anon, this is actually the 2nd time I applied and the first time I finished the process.
The reason I never finished the 1st process was because I had a really bad assessor, and he kept pressing me on one thing and I kept asking for a minute to reply and he was ignoring me and just kept going on so I hanged up the phone.
When I did that he booked a second assessment in a location I had no way of getting to - minus a 4 hour train ride.
So I gave up on the process completely.

So fast forward now to about a year, this time I didn't even get a warning about a health assessment, she just called me but the lady on the phone was kind and she was considerate - she said she only needed to ask me a few things and we went through it and it felt really good.

There's a choice lads, post in the spammer/twoll's thread, or wait 50 seconds for a proper 1.
