Why are we even trying to save this world? Kris hates us even on the normal route and plays a double game, hiding abilities and items from us. Noelle loves Kris and therefore doesn’t like us, even on the normal route.
Susie simply wouldn’t understand who we are, what we are, or what our intentions are, and would consider us a parasite that consumed Kris.
Why are we helping them? What is our motivation as the player and as the player’s avatar (the heart)?

I'm afraid that in both routes, we’ll end up as the group’s final opponent. In the weird route, for obvious reasons, and in the normal route, because Kris is playing their own game with their own plans, and we’re clearly in their way.

Not everyone. I regularly come across schizophrenics who sincerely believe that this ending will bring something good for (you), rather than a horrific and shameful end at the hands of the characters.
I have no idea where they come from, but they regularly share their fanfics here about how Noelle supposedly enjoys all this and that this route will lead to something other than antagonism against the characters, and that this route will result in anything other than hatred toward (you).
