This is what happens when social media and shit like Discord making everyone become instantly connected 24/7 causes most of the world to go fucking insane with more accessibility to information and each other than our brains are able to fully process. It wasn't that bad when all we had was extremely basic yet things like IRC and forums, where you were expected to follow etiquette and actually behave like a normal human being instead of whatever mentally ill babble constantly happens on tw*tter and r*ddit. We need to go back to Web 1.0 and dialup. I'm old and bitter, if you can't tell.

>realize that I will suck ass for the next several years, and there's a chance that I just might not be creatively inclined and will fail at that or anything else like writing or composing, and even if I am, by the point I'm good enough for anything worthwhile I'll be too old for anybody to give a shit about my amateur-grade slop without being told to have kids or whatever instead, on top of having to juggle my job and other responsibilities as well
