I love this post on the steam discussions page
>Apparently people are praising the 2nd scenario route but I just found all the characters except Eva to be utterly despicable. The route also drags on and on despite the player putting everything together early.
>To begin with, early in the route the enemies call you the "invaders", and anyone with a tuppence worth of brains would be able to deduce that this is not Earth and humans came here to exterminate the natives and take over. But the story just keeps dragging this reveal on and on until 60+ days into the route.
>When we finally get the big reveal, you would expect the characters to immediately abandon the plan to genocide an entire planet of innocent people, but instead they justify it or gloss it over and continue. Seeing the protagonist's goofy face as he pranced around making preparations to genocide innocent people just made me despise him.
>Then the human mothership gets blown up (only good part of the route, they deserved it) and now suddenly they decide to stop the missiles, as if this is some great heroic choice. So genociding a whole planet of innocent people was fine before but now that there's nobody to take over it's bad.
>The ending tries to be emotional but if you hate all the characters then it is impossible to care. As a final gut punch, Nozomi, the one person who willingly joined this plan knowing it was a plan to genocide innocent people gets to survive instead of having her skull bashed in with an iron pipe.
