Look at the ethnicity of the prominent intellectuals who came from the Islamic Golden Age, most of them were arguably Iranic people. Suhrawardi, who had influence from Zoroastrian sources, created much of the philosophy that shaped the curriculum of contemporary Iranian philosophers and even Shia theologians. Islam and Iran are inseparable, it’s shallow to assume you can just cut that away and adopt some reconstructed larp of pre-Islamic Zoroastrianism like Wiccans
