The takeaway from this thread seems to be never marry or let a woman be in a position where she has a stake and/or control over your assets. It seems like the most optimal relationship phase is the early dating phase when at most you eat meals together then go to each other's house to fuck and no relationship should advance beyond that if you value your mental and financial well being.
