still hoping for a "create-a-villager" feature
not the ability to just customize your entire island of villagers but maybe just a dedicated 'best friend' villager that could go out to other peoples' towns/islands/etc. for vacation or something and bring you back gifts or do little sidequests of their own for you, like if you need a specific material to sell or make something and they can just so happen to visit you and go "hey I collected a bunch of stuff outside the other day and thought you might want some of it!"
