How much Doom and Doom II sold is unknown. I know wikipedia claims a number but if you bothered to check the sources instead of being a retard that reads 2 words and take them at face value, you'd realize (if you're not retarded) that that number is about a re-release that went through a publisher and does not take into account the direct mail in service to ID, which is how it most likely sold the most.

I always get surprised and a bit sad seeing granblue not even listed. Not a gacha player I just found it's very peak classical JRPG-y vibe and aesthetics charming. But a friend told me (hi if you reading this) that they joked GBF would start offering waifu-wive skins if it was nearing end of service. And they just did with Ilsa.
Maybe it's doing better with the fighting game or the JRPG game.
The sheer success of the fujoshi prettyboy thing constantly in 2nd place shows how much of an untapped audience the women gamers are, and naruto and uhhh pokemon doing well also suggest you can coast with a captive large audience. What would you make if you wanted to make a gacha game to make money? Not fun to play, not waifus you want, you're a corpo suit what do you propose to make money?

On the topic of /mu/sic given other boards handle their topics better than the designated boards, is Tupac actually GOAT or is that just the standard shibboleth of good tastes where someone cites something at the best because it's cited as the best.
I've heard a song or two and it just doesn't stand out as anything special. It strikes me as like The Beatles where the success is heavily because of the time they were in rather than the objective quality. Like Michael jackson if he showed up today in a world with no Michael Jackson would be explosively popular even now, hee wasn't so much of a "First to get there"

Struck me more with the remake how much Griffith/Guts resemble Akio and Ryu visually and to a mild extent thematically. Akio or whatever his name is didn't go quite so pale twink in his OG form though.
