How did Europe save video games?
Jannies, talking about a movement with "games" in the title should be enough to make you realize that this is not off-topic. A video game board should be able to discuss such an important milestone in video game history.

TL;DW: >force companies to ensure people can play singleplayer offline and give out server software when games reach end of life, or at least make a big and obvious disclaimer that you won't be able to play the game after the publisher's server shuts down (like those health warning on cigarettes). This isn't difficult, this was standard fanfare 25 years ago.

REMINDER: Don't stop signing at 1 million. We need at least 1.2M to account for rejected signatures. (More is better).
