To answer the OP, there was a Yugioh game I played once that did not make any fucking sense at all. The card mechanics were completely nonsensical and I wasn't able to play the game because the enemy AI was able to magically play a Blue Eyes White Dragon on turn 1. I also got drunk and played Ride to Hell: Retribution once at a party.
