The EU is already in the process of making laws against microtransactions so they definitely care about customer rights even when it comes to video games. It was a mobile game that got too greedy and now the entire industry will get hit for using deceptive tactics.
They definitely care, with this in mind, the initiative being a success is more probable than most people even realize.

Oh no wonder I had no idea what was supposed to be happening because it's a single line of dialogue that's skipped if you give him a direct answer.
Silly me, I should have had the gall to ask a powerful lich in a pocket dimension filled with his high leveled minions about his secrets as you should in that sort of situation. Should have assumed he would have been willing to explain things to me and not that he would instantly attack me.
